Stephanie Moyer began her racing career driving fast and agile Champ Karts in 2010 at age 12 in the Blue Plate division at the Greenwood Valley Action tracks before advancing to the Gold Kart ranks in 2011. During that 2011 season Stephanie’s brother Mike Moyer Jr., a Factory Stock Driving Champion at the Evergreen Raceway in Drums, Pa., passed away. Racing with a heavy heart Stephanie completed that 2011 Jr. Gold Kart season and earned seven wins and the Jr. Gold Kart Driving Championship.
She dedicated that season and her success to her late brother Mike Jr. In 2012 Stephanie Moyer continued to carry the Moyer family racing flag as she took over the driving duties in her late brother’s championship Factory Stock car. With the help of her father Mike Moyer Sr., himself a highly successful driver, as crew chief, Stephanie Moyer has impressed veteran racers and enthusiasts with countless top finishes in the popular Factory Stock division. In fact, Stephanie Moyer earned the 2012 Evergreen Raceway Rookie of the Year award, the 2013 Evergreen Raceway Most Improved Driver award and has never finished out of the top six in the season-long point races! The 2020 race season was Stephanie’s most impressive! Against a field of 27 other entries, Stephanie raced to a feature win and five top three finishes on her way to the 2020 Evergreen Raceway Factory Stock Driving Championship!! Looking ahead to the 2021 season, Stephanie Moyer will enroll in the rookie driver approval process in an effort to compete in the nationally recognized ARCA (Automobile Racing Club of America) Menards Series which conducts events on nationally known speedways including the Daytona International Speedway!
